The Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) hosted its 90th Annual General Meeting on April 29, 2010 where it elected a new Executive Council in front of a packed crowd of Chamber members and invited guests. Mr. Rishi Alain Mungal, Legal Counsel to Morgan & Morgan Belize, after having accepted his nomination was then elected by a strong majority to serve as Councilor to the Executive.
The BCCI was founded in 1920, is the largest private sector membership based organization in Belize and is Belize’s leading advocate for private enterprise. The BCCI aims to promote economic vitality and quality of life in Belize through the development of all sectors of industry and commerce.
Earlier in April, Mr. Mungal was also granted full membership in the prestigious Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners headquartered in the United Kingdom.
